After Atlanta Falcons offensive lineman Ben Garland signed his $2.9 million second-round restricted tender Sunday, Garland took to Twitter to express his excitement about the upcoming season.

“Proud to sign a new contract with the Atlanta Falcons,” Garland wrote. “Unbelievably blessed to work for an organization that aligns so closely with my core values. #servicebeforeself #brotherhood #competition #riseup.”

Garland, the Falcons nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award last season, started in three games at guard in 2017 and has played in 32 games with the Falcons since signing with the team in 2015.
