Offense: C-plus

The Hawks get a lot of credit for overcoming a 23-point third-quarter deficit. However, there were issues that led to the big hole. They scored just 15 first-quarter points. They committed 18 turnovers that led to 27 points. They were outscored 16-2 in the fourth quarter after taking a four-point lead with five of their shots blocked in the period.

Defense: C

The Hawks wanted to play quality transition defense. They did not early as the Warriors had 12 fast-break points in the opening period. The Hawks wanted to guard the 3-point line. They did not early as the Warriors had six in the first quarter and 14 for the game. The Hawks did a decent job on everybody not named Curry or Thompson.
