Caliya Robinson, a star for the Georgia Lady Bulldogs, was drafted by the Indiana Fever in the third round of the WNBA Draft on Wednesday night. She was the 28th player drafted.

Robinson, a 6-foot-3 forward, finished her collegiate career as one of five Georgia players in program history to score more than 1,000 career points, pull down more than 800 rebounds and block more than 200 shots. She finished second all-time at Georgia in career blocked shots, with 292, and ninth in rebounds, with 874.

Robinson is the second Lady Bulldog to be drafted to the WNBA in two seasons. Mackenzie Engram was drafted by the Atlanta Dream in 2018.

Before playing at UGA, Robinson played at Kell High before transferring to McEachern for her junior and senior years of high school. Robinson helped lead McEachern to the state Class AAAAAA championship in 2014 with a 28-2 record.
