Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas will not be suspended by the NBA for striking Hawks guard Dennis Schroder in Game 3 of their playoff series Friday night.

The league assessed Thomas a Flagrant Foul 1 on Saturday for the incident which occurred with 1:43 remaining in the first quarter. Thomas and Schroder were hit with double technical fouls 16 seconds later after the two needed to be separated following a personal foul call on Schroder.

In addition, the NBA fined Celtics guard Marcus Smart $5,000 for violating the league’s anti-flopping policy in Game 3.

MORE TO COME, INCLUDING REACTION FROM HAWKS COACH MIKE BUDENHOLZER.
