Sideline strong: Sager's always on the bright side
This week’s Sports Illustrated cover profiles legendary sports reporter Craig Sager.
Colorful TNT reporter Craig Sager is back on the sidelines during the NBA playoffs, and he's taken his look to the next level for the postseason.
"I have to step it up — in terms of the bling," Sager said to Sports Illustrated.
The 64-year-old Atlanta resident has maintained a positive outlook while acknowledging his battle with acute myeloid leukemia.
"Am I naive? Maybe. Am I in denial? No," Sager told Sports Illustrated. "I know the severity. But I have faith, I have support. I have hope. Hope is as important as breath."
