* Center Joakim Noah had 14 offensive rebounds against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, the most offensive boards by one player in a game since April 2003 (Shaquille O'Neal). Noah was third in the NBA in rebounding at 12.0 per game before Friday's games.

* The Bulls lost to the Hawks 118-83 at Philips Arena on Dec. 9. The Hawks are 2-2 when playing teams for the second time this season. They're 5-1 on the second night of back-to-back games.

* Before Friday, guard Derrick Rose had shot 38.3 percent in his last four games, including a 7-for-18 night against the Hawks.

* For Chicago's game against New York on Friday, forward Luol Deng (left thumb), Noah (left shoulder) and Rose (rib strain) were probable. Center Jerome James (right Achilles) and forward Tyrus Thomas (left radius fracture) were out.
