The Hawks will hold Mike Scott out of Thursday’s exhibition game against the Pistons, according to head coach Mike Budenholzer.

Scott has appeared in only one exhibition game this preseason as the team is concerned with left knee soreness. After missing the first two exhibition games, the forward played minutes in Monday’s contest against the Cavaliers. Scott finished with four points, all free throws, and three rebounds.

“Making sure we take it easy with him,” Budenholzer said before Thursday’s game on the reason Scott was a late addition to the list of those who will not play.

The Hawks won’t play Paul Millsap (right knee rehabilitation), Jarrett Jack (right knee rehabilitation) and Tiago Splitter (right hamstring strain). In addition, Thabo Sefolosha and Mike Muscala will be non-injury holdouts.
