Prince nears return, upgraded to questionable

The Hawks are on the verge of getting Taurean Prince back from a left ankle sprain that has kept the starting small forward out for 18 games.

The Hawks listed Prince as questionable in its injury report ahead of Sunday afternoon’s game against the Bucks. Prince has not played since suffering the injury Dec. 3 against the Warriors. If Prince doesn’t not return Sunday, the Hawks next play the Thunder on Tuesday.

Prince has averaged 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 28.7 minutes in 21 games this season.

In other injury news, the Hawks list Jeremy Lin (right bicep contusion) as probable, Dewayne Dedmon (left ankle sprain) as questionable and Kent Bazemore (right ankle sprain) and Miles Plumlee (left knee pain) as out for Sunday’s game.
