North Carolina senior point guard Nate Britt will work out for the Hawks on Tuesday in advance of the NBA Draft.
Britt appeared in 151 games for the Tar Heels, including the NCAA National Championship games in 2016 and 2017. He appeared in 39 games as a senior last season and averaged 4.4 points and 2.3 assists in 19.1 minutes as a rotational player. Britt had 10 points and five assists in the Tar Heels’ first-round tournament win against Texas Southern on their path to the national championship.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Britt graduated from North Carolina with a degree in Management and Society this spring. He was a member of the U-18 Team USA and was the 2011 Gatorade Player of the Year in Washington, D.C.
The Hawks have three picks in the NBA Draft on June 22 with Nos. 19, 31 and 60.
