Tim Hardaway Jr. should have had a chance for another point after he made a key 3-pointer in the Hawks’ loss to the Celtics Friday night.

The NBA reviewed the last two minutes of the 103-101 loss and noted one incorrect call in its Last Two Minutes report issued Saturday.

Hardaway banked in a 3-pointer to pull the Hawks within three points, 101-98, with less than a minute to play. According to the report, Marcus Smart should have been called for a foul on the play for making contact with Hardaway’s head.

After the play, Isaiah Thomas missed a layup and Paul Millsap hit a game-tying 3-pointer with 25.6 seconds left. Thomas would win the game for the Celtics with a 19-foot step back jumper with 2.4 seconds remaining.

The NBA also reviewed seven other plays in the final two minutes of the game and deemed them all either the correct call or the correct non-call. The league reviews the final two minutes of regulation, and overtime, in games within five points at the two-minute mark.
