The Hawks assigned Mike Muscala to Fort Wayne of the NBA Development League Sunday. The center will play in today’s home game versus Sioux Falls. Game time is 5 p.m.
The plan is for Muscala to play one game before returning to Atlanta before Tuesday’s game against the Rockets.
This will be the fifth D-League assignment of the season for Muscala. In five previous games, he averaged 14.4 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 blocks in 29.8 minutes.
Muscala played 16 minutes for the Hawks in Saturday’s 93-91 victory at the Heat. He had five points, four blocks, one rebound and one assist.
