An MRI exam performed on Shelvin Mack confirmed a left calf strain and the Hawks guard will remain out for the forseeable future.

The exam was done at the Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic on Monday. Mack missed Monday’s game with the Pistons due to the injury. According to the team, Mack will be listed as out and his status updated when appropriate. He will miss Wednesday’s home game against the Pacers.

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said Monday the prognosis was for Mack to miss a minimum of a week.

Mack suffered the injury in Saturday’s game against the Bulls in Chicago.
