The NBA Development League playoff run of Hawks’ rookies Lamar Patterson and Edy Tavares came to an end Wednesday night.
The two are on assignment with the Austin Spurs who dropped a 117-104 decision to the Los Angeles D-Fenders in the deciding Game 3 of their Western Conference final series.
Patterson and Tavares did not see much playing time in the finale. Patterson had three points and two rebounds in nine minutes. Tavares had one rebound in two minutes.
The Hawks will recall both Patterson and Tavares, who are expected to rejoin the team in Boston on Friday before Game 3 of the Eastern Conference first-round playoff series.
