Hawks unrestricted free agent John Jenkins has received interest from as many as six teams, according to a person familiar with the situation. The shooting guard became a free agent after the Hawks opted not to pick up his option last season.

Jenkins was a first-round pick (No. 23 overall) of the Hawks in 2012. He was two-time First Team All-SEC at Vanderbilt. As a rookie, Jenkins averaged 6.1 points in 61 games. He was limited to 13 games last season for a back problem that eventually required surgery. Jenkins returned but played sparingly this season and averaged 5.6 points in 24 games. He shot .375 (78 of 208) from 3-point range during his career with the Hawks.
