TNT's coverage of the NBA All-Star game posted a 7.0 Nielsen rating on Atlanta television Sunday, well above the national average of 5.4 for the 56 major markets.

Atlanta's rating was ninth highest among major markets despite no Hawks playing in the game. The highest rating was in Miami-Fort Lauderdale (10.5), followed by Oklahoma City (10.1), host city Orlando (9.7), Chicago (8.7) and Los Angeles (8.3).

Meanwhile, Atlanta posted a 6.5 rating -- tied for fifth highest -- for TNT's coverage of the NBA's "All-Star Saturday" festivities, which included the slam-dunk contest.

The rating is the percentage of TV households tuned in, on average.
