Al Horford and Paul Millsap represented the Hawks at the NBA All-Star Game Sunday night in Toronto and the combined for 10 points, six rebounds and three assists.
The two represented the Eastern Conference in a 196-173 loss to the Western Conference in the game played at the Air Canada Center.
Horford, a late replacement, finished with seven points on a perfect 3 of 3 shooting, including a 3-pointer. The center added three rebounds and two assists in 9:25 of playing time. Horford was making his fourth appearance in an all-star game.
Millsap finished with three points by hitting a 3-pointer as he went 1 of 6 from the field. The power forward added three rebounds and one assist in 19:07 of playing time. Millsap was making his third straight all-star appearance.
The Thunder’s Russell Westbrook was named the game’s MVP for the second straight year as he led the West with 31 points, eight rebounds, five assists and five steals. The Pacers’ Paul George led the East with a game-high 41 points, including an all-star game record nine 3-pointers.
