Nets coach Lionel Hollins insists he made no defensive adjustment to stop Hawks guard Kyle Korver in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference first-round playoff series.
Korver had 21 and 17 points, respectively, in Games 1 and 2 of the series. However he had just two points in Game 3 when he shot 1 of 8 from the field and 0 of 5 from 3-point range.
“Our guys were more alert, aware of him,” Hollins said before Game 4 Monday. “Even when he was away from the ball, they were aware of that he might be coming out and they communicated with each other. Sometimes they switched, sometimes they didn’t switch. Switching took him away from some shots but you can’t switch all the time.”
