The Hawks open their Eastern Conference semifinal playoff series against the Wizards with Game 1 Sunday at Philips Arena. Here is a look at the four regular-season matchups between the teams:

Hawks 106, Wizards 102: The Hawks won for the sixth time in eight games with the win Nov. 25 in Washington, D.C. Reserves Mike Scott and Shelvin Mack combined for 30 points, including the first 16 and 23 total in the fourth quarter. Scott scored 17 points, on 5 of 10 shooting, and pulled down seven rebounds. Mack scored a season-high 13 points, of 5 of 9 shooting, and had five assists. They survived against the Wizards despite a poor-shooting second quarter. The Hawks scored just 19 points in the period on 5 of 17 shooting (.294). The Hawks had seven of their 15 turnovers in the quarter. Jeff Teague finished with a game-high 28 points. John Wall had 21 points for the Wizards.

Hawks 120, Wizards 89: The Hawks routed the Wizards in a game that pitted the two top teams in the Eastern Conference at the time on Jan. 11 in Atlanta. The Hawks won their eighth straight and their 22nd out of the past 24 games. They led by as many as 20 in the first half. The Hawks placed eight players in double-digit scoring, including all five starters – Kyle Korver (19), DeMarre Carroll (16), Al Horford (15) Pero Antic (12), Paul Millsap (11), Jeff Teague (11), Mike Scott (11) and Dennis Schroder (10). Teague added 10 assists. The Hawks tied a franchise record with eight different players making at least one 3-pointer. John Wall finished with 15 points for the Wizards.

Hawks 105, Wizards 96: The Hawks bounced back after having their franchise-record 19 game winning streak snapped two nights earlier with the win Feb. 4 in Atlanta. The win was punctuated by Mike Scott's fourth-quarter dunk over the Wizards' Bradley Beal. Jeff Teague led the Hawks with a game-high 26 points. The Hawks also got double-digit scoring from Al Horford (21), DeMarre Carroll (14), Paul Millsap (11) and Dennis Schroder (10). Horford had a double-double with 13 rebounds. John Wall had 24 points, nine assists and seven rebounds for the Wizards.

Wizards 108, Hawks 99: With the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference locked up long ago, the Hawks rested all five starters in the third to last game of the season April 12 in Washington, D.C. They trailed by as many as 25 points in the second half before a late charge, as the outscored the Wizards 44-18 over the final 18 minutes. Mike Scott led the Hawks with 19 points, including three 3-pointers. John Jenkins added a season-high 17 points and Shelvin Mack and Dennis Schroder each finished with 14 points. Scott returned after missing 11 games with a toe injury. All five Wizards starters scored in double figures by the end of the third quarter.
