The Hawks will compete in the Utah Jazz Summer League in July before they depart for the Las Vegas Summer League.

The Hawks will be one of the four teams in the Jazz Summer League and will play three games early in the month. An official announcement has not been made on the entrants or the schedule. The other teams are believed to be the Jazz, Spurs and 76ers. The Hawks replace the Celtics, who recently pulled out of the summer league.

All 30 NBA teams will compete in the Las Vegas Summer League from July 6-17.

The Hawks are scheduled to have four selections, in the top 33 picks, of the NBA Draft on June 21. They have three first rounders with the top pick no worse than seventh and the 19th (from Timberwolves) and 30th (from Rockets) picks. They also have the third pick of the second round. Their top pick will be determined at the draft lottery on May 15.

Last year’s rookie class of John Collins and Tyler Dorsey will definitely be on the Hawks’ summer league rosters. In addition, several players signed during the year like Tyler Cavanaugh, Antonius Cleveland and Jaylen Morris could play.

The Hawks were a frequent participant in the Rocky Mountain Revue until the summer league ended in 2008.
