What they said after the Hawks’ 109-105 overtime loss to the Warriors Tuesday night:

"Another tough loss. The individual defense from both Kent Bazemore and Thabo Sefolosha and then our bigs, at different times switching on to (Klay) Thompson. There continues to be a lot of good positives on the defensive end of the court. They made a couple of tough shots, crazy shots, and offensively we didn't get quite enough to go down for us. We've just got to keep working to get better at that end." – Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer's opening statement

"I just thought he was being aggressive on both ends of the court. I think he was attacking the basket, getting to the rim, making things happen in the paint. He was playing well. It's one of the good things about having two good point guards. Some nights it's Jeff. Some nights in Dennis. They are both very good." – Budenholzer on playing Dennis Schroder over Jeff Teague down the stretch

"There are constant adjustments going on throughout a game. I think (the defense) was just better. The guys managed to stay in front of Klay Thompson better, more often, and made a lot of his shots difficult in the second half." – Budenholzer on second-half defense

"We were better taking away points in the paint in the second half. The offensive rebounding, I know some of those points are coming off that. But in the second half, we did a lot better job taking away that." – Budenholzer on points in the paint disparity

"The shot clock is about to expire. The ball is bouncing around and he picks it up and throws it in from his hip. Ball went in. It's a big part of the game. It was a big play." – Budenholzer on Draymond Green's late 3-pointer

"We started switching things. Made it tough on them. Gave them a taste of their own medicine. Switched the pick-and-rolls and got more aggressive with them." – Paul Millsap on difference between first- and second-half defenses

"It's tough. You throw up a shot like that and he makes it." – Millsap on Green's late 3-pointer

"You have to continue to stay positive. There were some good things out there that happened. Still a loss. Like any other loss, we'll take the good out of it and move on." – Millsap on loss

"It's disappointing. We lost. I felt like we played a good game, especially in the second half we played really well. It's disappointing." – Al Horford on loss

"We switched the pick-and-roll coverage. That completely changed the complexion of the game. We were pretty much switching everything on the pick-and-roll. It threw them off and worked to our advantage." – Horford on difference between first- and second-half defenses

"It's tough. Guys in this league are very talented. You never know. Steph (Curry) makes 38-footers. You see guys make them from the other free-throw line. You've just got to brace yourself for those plays." – Kent Bazemore on Green's late 3-pointer

"We had a chance to win. I had those two (missed) free throws. Then Green hit that tough shot. That was the game right there. For sure (I'm kicking myself). I don't want to miss free throws, not at the end." – Dennis Schroder on loss

"It was just a desperation heave. (When Kent) Bazemore flew past me he actually gave me the chance to try to line it up a little bit more. It was just one of those things that sometimes the ball just bounces your way and it fell for me, unlike a lot of the other ones." - Green on his dramatic 3-pointer
