The Hawks recalled Edy Tavares from his two-game NBA Development League stint on Friday. The rookie center rejoined the team in time for games at the Lakers Friday and Clippers Saturday.

Tavares played two games for the Bakersfield Jam. He had zero points, four rebounds and six blocks in 13 minutes of a 108-104 win over the Santa Cruz Warriors on Wednesday. He started and had 12 points, seven rebounds and four blocks in 31 minutes of a 124-103 loss to the Los Angeles D-Fenders on Thursday.

Tavares has not played in 15 D-League games in stints with the Austin Spurs, Canton Charge and Bakersfield Jam. He averaged 10.3 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in 21.6 minutes.

Rookie guard/forward Lamar Patterson remains on D-League assignment with the Canton Charge. He started and had 19 points, three assists and one rebound in 20 minutes of a 115-112 loss to the Westchester Knicks on Thursday. Canton is next scheduled to play against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Saturday at 1 p.m. (ET).
