The Hawks recalled forward/center Adreian Payne from Austin of the NBA Development League Monday.

The rookie has been on four D-League assignments this season, two each with Austin and Fort Wayne, and played 17 games. He has averaged 12.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 blocks in 25.7 minutes.

Payne was at Hawks practice Monday and left with the team on its four-game road trip that begins Tuesday in Philadelphia.

Payne has appeared in one game this season for the Hawks.

John Jenkins, a 2012 first-round pick, remains on a D-League assignment with Idaho. He suffered a left hamstring injury last week and has missed the past two games.
