Atlanta Hawks forward Mike Muscala returned to his home state of Minnesota Wednesday and recorded a career-high of 24 points against the Timberwolves.

Muscala, from St. Louis Park, Minn., hit a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter to break his former record for most points in a game set on March 11 against the Chicago Bulls.

In addition to his 24 points, Muscala shot 8-of-10 from the field, 4-of-6 beyond the arc and recorded two rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes.
