Offense: C-minus

Three points on 1 of 11 shooting in overtime. The Hawks had a 16-point lead in the third quarter after a 14-0 run to start the period and couldn’t hold it. The Hawks shot 37 percent from the field (37 of 100). Millsap was a beast. Take away him and the Hawks shot 26 percent (18 of 69). They had 15 turnovers that led to 23 Celtics’ points. The Hawks’ final possession of regulation left much to be desired.

Defense: C-minus

The Hawks allowed 12 points in overtime, including five straight from Amir Johnson to start the period. Thomas again got away from the Hawks even when they tried to guard him with Kent Bazemore and Sefolosha. The Hawks did hold the Celtics to a high of 24 points in a quarter (first and third).
