Report card
Offense: A
The Hawks played with pace – for most of the 48 minutes. The speed is something they have gotten away from at times, especially in back-to-back losses to the Magic. The 38 third-quarter points were the key to put the Bulls away. The Hawks shot 48 percent from the field and 40 percent from 3-point range. The Hawks got 11 offensive rebounds.
Defense: A
The Hawks survived the Bulls’ early punch as they scored 29 first-quarter points. They allowed just 61 points the rest of the game, including 19-point second and 17-point fourth quarters. The Hawks defended Derrick Rose into just 14 points on 6 of 18 shooting. The 19 forced turnovers were big.
