Kyle Korver versus Doug McDermott. The Creighton University products will face off in an NBA preseason game in their collegiate home.

The Hawks will play the Bulls in a preseason game in Omaha on Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. (ET). The Bulls released their preseason schedule on Thursday. The exhibition game will be played at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha.

Korver led Creighton in scoring as a senior in 2002-03 with 17.8 points per game. He set school records with 129 3-pointers that season. He went on to be a second-round pick (No. 51) of the Nets and traded to the 76ers on draft night in 2003. The 13-year veteran will enter his fourth season with the Hawks. McDermott led the nation in scoring with 26.7 points as a senior in 2014 and was a three-time first-team All-American at Creighton. He was a first-round pick (No. 11) of the Bulls.

The Hawks have not announced their preseason schedule. They are also scheduled to play a preseason game at the Grizzlies on Oct. 6, according to the Memphis schedule released this week.
