Hawks starting small forward Kent Bazemore will miss Thursday night’s game against the Raptors due to right knee stiffness.

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer announced the decision prior to the game but does not expect the injury to be long term.

“He’s kind of been having some things,” Budenholzer said. “The knee is just a little stiff and more than we want to push the envelope.”

Thabo Sefolosha will start in place of Bazemore.

Bazemore was a late addition to the team’s injury report as he was listed as probable Thursday afternoon.

Bazemore played 34 minutes in the Hawks’ 103-90 victory over the Suns on Tuesday and had a solid all-around game of 17 points, nine rebounds, five assits and five steals.
