Hawks assign Patterson to D-League

The Hawks assigned Lamar Patterson to the NBA Development League on Tuesday. He will play for the Canton Charge after being assigned via the flexible assignment rule.

Patterson was recalled from the D-League on Sunday night after playing a pair of weekend games with the Austin Spurs.

The Charge have upcoming games at the Westchester Knicks on Thursday at 7 p.m. and versus the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Patterson, the rookie guard/forward, has played seven D-League games this season, all with Austin, and averaged 15.6 points, 5.7 assists and 1.0 steals in 34.0 minutes.
