A brief recap of the Hawks’ franchise record-tying 57th win, a 131-99 rout that snapped Brooklyn’s six-game winning streak:

How the game was won: Everybody, or nearly everybody, scored as the Hawks put up a season high in points (131), banked 40 assists, and shot 59.8 percent. Al Horford and DeMarre Carroll led the way with 20 points each.

Jeff Teague went for 17 points and eight assists and perhaps most importantly made 8-of-12 shots.

On the downside, Paul Millsap left with an apparent shoulder injury of undetermined severity. The All-Star forward scored eight points, and added five rebounds in 16:44.

Turning point: Former Georgia Tech star Thaddeus Young missed the game's first shot, a running jumper for the Nets, and that was it. Horford soon hit a jumper for a 2-0 lead and the Hawks were never tied again, nor did they trail.Atlanta led 66-48 at halftime, and 108-71 after three quarters.

Number:1. Reserve post man Elton Brand was the only Hawk to play and not score. Austin Daye and Dennis Schroder were not active.

Next: The Suns will visit Philips Arena Tuesday night for the only time this season.
