How the game was won: Jeff Teague scored 16 of his 23 points in the second half, when Mike Scott scored 15 of his 17 off the bench, and the Hawks cashed in at the free throw line to pull away and win a game that was tied 52-all at halftime.
The Hawks’ bench outscored Golden State reserves 26-12 after halftime with Scott pitching in three of Atlanta’s 15 three pointers. Teague was 9-of-9 from the free throw line in the second half, and overall the Hawks were 33-of-37 from the charity stripe where the Warriors were 10-of-15.
Al Horford added a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Turning point: The game was tied for what would be the last time, at 83-all before Scott made back-to-back 3-pointers with 42 and 22 seconds left in the third quarter. He grabbed a defensive rebound in between the two shots.
Number:-13. The Hawks won despite being outrebounded 51-38.
