A brief recap of the Hawks’ franchise record 15th consecutive win :

How the game was won: Paul Millsap scored 11 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, when the Hawks expanded a four-point lead to snap the Thunder's four-game winning streak. Jeff Teague scored 17 with nine assists, and backup point guard Dennis Schroder added 13 points, five assists and three rebounds as Atlanta beat Oklahoma City at its own game — by rebounding.

The Thunder entered the game as the NBA’s top rebounding team, averaging 46.9 a game, while the Hawks were pulling 41.1. Al Horford grabbed 12 boards, Millsap added 10, and Atlanta beat Oklahoma City 47-36 on the glass..

Turning point: The Hawks were tied a couple times early in the third quarter, and Oklahoma City drew within 71-69 when Bryant Westbrook hit a 3-pointer with 2:22 left in the period. Kevin Durant soon blocked a Millsap lay-up try at the other end, but Millsap gathered the ball and whipped it to Pero Antic for a 3-pointer that gave the Hawks a 74-69 lead that remained secure.

Number: 10. Atlanta has won a franchise-record 10 straight games against Western Conference opponents.

Next: The Hawks will play host to Minnesota Sunday evening in the fourth game of a seven-game home stand.
