Former Hawks All-Star Kyle Korver suited up and made his first appearance with the Cleveland Cavs Tuesday night after being traded from Atlanta in exchange for Mike Dunleavy, Mo Williams and a protected first-round pick.

Korver played 18 minutes and scored two points and had three rebounds but Cleveland lost to the Jazz 100-92 in Utah.

Korver was 1-for-5 from the field, 0-for-2 from 3-point distance.

Korver had been in limbo since the weekend trade, waiting for Dunleavy to report to Atlanta and take a physical. Dunleavy did both Tuesday.

Before the game, Korver said, “I’ve always felt the better the players are around me, the better I can be,” Korver said. “And this is the most talented team I’ve ever been on.”

The Cavs are 28-9. Korver left a Hawks team that is 22-16.

Korver played 332 games with the Hawks in his four-plus seasons. He was one of four Hawks players to make the All-Star team in 2015.

He averaged 10.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 31.3 minutes per game in his tenure with the Hawks. Korver shot .462 from the field, .452 from 3-point range and .887 from the free-throw line.

He is the Hawks’ all-time leader in free-throw percentage and is third in all-time 3-pointers made (818).

Korver ranks eighth in NBA history with 1,952 career 3-pointers.

And now he wears a Cavs uniform.
