The Hawks will be without Tim Hardaway Jr. for Friday’s game against the Nuggets with a right groin injury.

The Hawks updated Hardaway’s status on Friday afternoon. The reserve guard was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report Thursday. Hardaway suffered the injury in Wednesday’s loss to the Timberwolves after completing an alley-oop dunk. He played just 1:01 before the injury.

Hardaway travelled with the team to Denver.

The Hawks will also be without Dwight Howard (back tightness) for a third straight game. Tiago Splitter (calf strain) remains on the injury list as out.
