Tim Hardaway Jr. was a late inactive for the Hawks game against the Timberwolves Monday.

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer and Hardaway said Monday morning that they expected the reserve wing to play. Budenholzer said in his pregame availability that he was 99 percent sure that Dwight Howard and Hardaway would be ready to play. However, after warming up prior to the game, it was deemed that Hardaway was not 100 percent from a right groin injury that kept him out of Friday’s win at the Nuggets.

Howard missed three games with back tightness. He was in the starting lineup against the Timberwolves.
