The Atlanta Dream announced Tuesday that guard Ketia Swanier and guard/forward Blanche Alverson have been placed on waivers.

The news came one day after the Dream’s final exhibition game. The Dream’s training-camp roster now stands at 14 players.

Swanier averaged 2.2 points and 1.9 assists per game in her only season with the Dream, in 2012. She played in all 34 games, making two starts. During her five-year career, she has averaged 2.5 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

Alverson, a rookie from Auburn, was signed to a training-camp contract in April. She averaged 5.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in the Dream’s two exhibition games.

The Dream will tip off their sixth season in the WNBA on May 25 at Philips Arena against Tulsa.
