Dream finalize roster ahead of season opener

The Atlanta Dream finalized their roster ahead of the 2019 WNBA season opener on Friday.

The Dream will return eight players from last season under head coach Nicki Collen, including All-WNBA First Team Tiffany Hayes. Angel McCoughtry, the longest tenured player on the roster, will be sidelined to start the season as she recovers from a knee injury suffered late last season.

The Dream open the season at home against the Dallas Wings at 7:30 p.m. at State Farm Arena.
