Hawks guard Marco Belinelli will not play in Friday night’s home game against the Nets due to a left ankle sprain. The reserve was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report Thursday but his status was downgraded Friday.
It will be the first game Belinelli has missed this season.
Belinelli is averaging 11.8 points and is shooting .386 from 3-point range in 41 games this season. He had 10 points, including two 3-pointers, in 17 minutes of the Hawks victory at the Nuggets Wednesday.
