Wake Forest center Doral Moore will forgo his senior season and declare for the NBA Draft. The Atlanta native, who attended Montverde Academy (Fla.), will hire an agent. The 7-foot-1, 270-pound Moore averaged 11.1 points and 9.4 rebounds last season for the Demon Deacons.
Moore shot .689 percent from the field last season, first in the ACC, and set the league record for dunks in a season at 88, eight more than the previous mark. His career field goal percentage was .653. Moore’s rebound total was third in the ACC last season, while leading in both offensive and defensive rebounding percentage, and he also averaged two blocks per game and a team-best 61.
Moore compares to Jazz center Rudy Gobert.
