The Atlanta Dream will open the 2019 WNBA season at State Farm Arena - a return home – against the Dallas Wings on May 24.

The announcements on the Dream’s return to State Farm Arena and the WNBA schedule were made Tuesday. The Dream played its home games at Georgia Tech the last two seasons.

“I’m thrilled for our organization to have the opportunity to be back in State Farm Arena,” head coach Nicki Collen said in a statement. “The renovations have made it a world class venue and l know our fans are going to be excited to experience all it has to offer. Our objective is to make it the best home court environment in the WNBA and we will need the fans to make that happen.”

The Dream played at the former Philips Arena from 2008-16 and reached three WNBA Finals. The arena reopened this year after a $192.5 million renovation.

The Dream will be featured on ESPN in a June 23rd home game against the Washington Mystics. The regular-season ends Sept. 8 at home.
