The Atlanta television audience for the NBA Finals continued to grow Monday night, with Game 5 delivering the highest rating of the series here.

ABC’s telecast of Cleveland’s Game 5 victory over Golden State drew a 19.1 rating in the Atlanta TV market, the seventh highest in the nation and the third highest outside the states of the participating teams, according to Nielsen figures.

The first four games had drawn Atlanta ratings of 16.9, 15.6, 15.6 and 16.8, respectively, ranking among the top seven nationally for each game.

The rating is the percentage of the market’s TV households that watched the game on average.

For Monday’s game, the highest ratings were posted in the Cleveland and San Francisco/Oakland markets – 38.5 and 36.9, respectively. Next came Sacramento, Calif., at 20.4; Miami at 20.1; Columbus, Ohio, at 19.6; Memphis at 19.4; and Atlanta.
