Pero Antic will likely return from a left ankle sprain and be available against the Nuggets Wednesday.
Antic missed the past two games with the injury.
“He is making good progress,” Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said. “I think we’ll see how he warms ups, see how he feels. My guess is he will play.”
The Hawks updated the status of Antic to probable on the team’s injury report Wednesday. He had been listed as questionable the past two games. Antic was injured in the second quarter against the Cavaliers last Friday.
Antic said he felt ready to play but the final decision would be made by the coaching staff.
