The Gwinnett Braves open their 2016 home schedule Thursday, April 14, with a seven-game homestand.

The first 2,500 fans at Coolray Field for Thursday's 7 p.m. against the Norfolk Tides (Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) will receive an opening day T-shirt.

The national anthem and “God Bless America” will be performed by Barrett Baber, a country music artists who finished third in the 2015 season of NBC's "The Voice."

Fireworks will follow the game.

On Friday, April 15

(game time 7:05 p.m.)

, the G-Braves will wear special Brooklyn Dodgers-themed jerseys (left) to commemorate "Jackie Robinson Day." Game-worn jerseys - with Robinson's No. 42 -- will be auctioned off during the game. The first 2,500 fans at the game will receive a 2016 G-Braves magnet schedule.

On Saturday, April 16 (game time 7:05 p.m.), the first 2,500 fans at Coolray Field will receive a fleece blanket.

Fans will be allowed to bring their dog for a day at the ballpark Sunday. Seating for all pooches will be on the lawn (game time 2:05 p.m.). Fans also are invited to play catch on the field before the game (from 1:10 p.m. to 1:25 p.m.) and kids 12 and under can run the bases following the game.
