Freddie Freeman hits a 2-run homer in the sixth inning. Ozzie Albies goes deep in the eighth inning. Preston Tucker's big single ties the game 5-5 in the eighth. Manager Brian Snitker is ejected for arguing in the ninth. Nick Markakis's 3-run homer in the 9th gives the Braves an 8-5 win.

The Braves rallied from an 5-0 deficit to beat the Phillies 8-5 in their season-opener Thursday at SunTrust Park.

And all the excitement did not occur in the ninth inning.
