The Braves open the season April 3 against the Mets in New York and play their first eight games on the road.

The 2017 Braves have some key veteran players returning, like first baseman Freddie Freeman, pitcher Julio Teheran and outfielder Matt Kemp, and they have some up-and-comers stepping in too, like shortstop Dansby Swanson.

They’ve also added some valuable starting pitchers and long-time Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips.

So there’s reason for optimism about the upcoming season. Once the long 162-game schedule has played out, who do you think will have proved himself to be the most valuble player in a Braves uniform?
