Braves left-handed reliever Jonny Venters has done light tossing each of the past two days. It is the first time he as thrown a baseball since receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection in his left elbow last month.
Venters has experienced elbow soreness in his comeback from a second Tommy John ligament replacement surgery.
Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said Venters was merely tossing the ball and not taking part in a rehabilitation program.
