Where: Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia
When: 7:05 p.m.
TV; radio: SPSO; 680, 93.7, 106.7
Probable starting pitchers: TBA vs. RH Aaron Nola (5-2, 4.02)
What's new: As of first pitch Monday night, the Braves had yet to announce who will face Nola. Matt Wisler (5-61, 5.97) was originally scheduled to start but he pitched two innings in relief against the Nationals on Sunday – the first relief appearance of his young major league career – in an effort to rebuild some of his confidence. It came on a bullpen day. Wisler had thrown just 1 2/3 innings and 48 pitches in his previous start, but it appeared he would not be ready to start again so soon after throwing 41 pitches. Andrelton Simmons was 0-for-his-past-19 entering this series against the Phillies. On the other end of the spectrum, Nick Swisher was 6-for-11 (.545) with a double and four RBIs in his previous five games entering the series.
