What's new: The Braves are just 5-7 in interleague play this season and haven't won an interleague series since the first one of the year when they took two of three in Toronto on April 17-19. The Braves and Rays split a two-game series at Turner Field May 19-20. The Braves have an 18-8 advantage over the Rays all-time, including 11-4 at Tropicana Field. The Braves have won just two of their past 13 road games entering this two-game series. Nick Markakis saw his 15-game hitting streak ending Sunday. He hit .379 (25-for-66) over that span with three doubles, a home run and 10 RBIs. A.J. Pierzynski's hit streak ended Sunday too at 13 games. He had hit .431 (22-for-51) over the streak, with two doubles, a home run and seven RBIs.
