Where: Camden Yards, Baltimore
When: 7:05 p.m.
TV; radio: SPSO; 680, 93.7, 106.7
Probable starting pitchers: Braves RH Julio Teheran (6-5, 4.49) vs. RH Ubaldo Jimenez (7-6, 3.81)
What's new: Freddie Freeman got his first base hit in his second game back — and first start — from the disabled list on Sunday in St. Louis. Not surprisingly, the Braves won the game. The Braves averaged just 2.7 runs per game when he was on the shelf with a bone bruise in his wrist and went 13-18. They are 33-34 with him in the starting lineup. Cameron Maybin is beginning to crank back up at the plate. He had two hits Sunday to give him hits in six of his previous seven games, while batting 7-for-29 with a double and three RBIs. Jonny Gomes is 7-for-19 (.368) in his career against Jimenez and four of those hits went for extra bases — one double and three homers.
