Former Braves pitcher Tim Hudson indicated Tuesday that he may retire after this season.
Hudson, 40, who left the Braves for San Francisco after the 2013 season said said, "I feel like it's the right thing to do, the right time for my family."
"I played this game a lot longer than I thought I would and had a long career." Hudson said, following the Giants' 6-2 win over Arizona. "Nights like tonight are very gratifying to go out there in this stage in my career to give my team a chance to win."
Hudson, who pitched nine seasons for the Braves, is in his 17th season. His 221 wins rank him 74th all time.
