How the winning run scored: With runners on second and third and one out in the top of the 12th inning, Gwinnett second baseman Phil Gosselin's throwing error allowed two Norfolk runners to score, giving the Tides a 4-2 lead Tuesday night.

At the plate: Atlanta Braves second baseman Dan Uggla, in his second rehab game with the G-Braves, was 2-for-4 with a single, a run scored and a run driven in. He hit a one-out, solo homer in the fifth inning. He's expected to rejoin the Braves on Wednesday, when he's eligible to come off the disabled list.

On the mound: G-Braves starter Sean Gilmartin allowed one run in six innings. He gave two hits and walked one, while striking out seven.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (57-81) begin a three-game series against Durham at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, the team's final home series of the season. Right-hander David Hale (6-7, 2.87 ERA) is scheduled to start for Gwinnett against righty J.D. Martin (15-4, 2.84).
